Our Leadership Team

David Carpenter
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Carpenter oversees all corporate operations and cross-platform business development and leadership for PureStar and sits on the Board of Directors.  He started his career with ARAMARK Corporation, and served as the President of the Healthcare Division for North America.  Mr. Carpenter has also served as Head of the Education Division for ABM – a leader in integrated facilities solutions.

Kevin Brennan
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Brennan joined PureStar in December 2018 as the Chief Financial Officer and oversees the finance, accounting, treasury, and risk management functions for all divisions and regional business units.   Prior to joining PureStar, he spent 4 years as the VP of Finance at ABM Aviation, where he oversaw the accounting, finance and pricing functions of the $950 million Airport and Airline services business unit throughout the US, UK, Dubai and Guam.  He began his career as an accountant at Forrestall & Pugh and spent more than 15 years at Siemens across various roles and geographies.  Mr. Brennan received a B.B.A. from the University of Georgia and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Eric Goldberg
Chief Growth Officer
Mr. Goldberg is a founding partner of PureStar.  As Chief Growth Officer, he oversees marketing, sales and development initiatives.  Prior to joining PureStar, Mr. Goldberg was the Co-CEO of Atlantic City Linen Supply, one of the leading outsourced laundry service providers in the nation, and previously was Executive Vice President at Geoffrey Weill Associates, a travel and tourism marketing consultancy.

Eric Brady
Chief Strategy Officer
Mr. Brady is a founding partner of PureStar. As Chief Strategy Officer, he leads the efforts of exploring and executing new business opportunities and segments for PureStar within the hospitality space. Prior to his current position, Mr. Brady served as President of PureStar’s Western Region and the Bahamas, overseeing all operations for Las Vegas, and Nassau, Bahamas. Before joining PureStar, he was the President of Brady Linen, one of the leading outsourced laundry service providers in the nation.

Dan Goldberg
Chief Administrative Officer
Mr. Goldberg is a founding partner of PureStar. As Chief Administrative Officer, he oversees multiple functional areas for PureStar including: purchasing, IT, safety, reporting and analytics, contracts, and utilities. Prior to his current position, Mr. Goldberg served As President of PureStar’s Eastern Region, overseeing all operations for facilities up and down the Eastern Seaboard. Before joining PureStar, he was the Co-CEO of Atlantic City Linen Supply, one of the leading outsourced laundry service providers in the nation.

Megan Jones
Chief Human Resources Officer and General Counsel
Mrs. Jones is responsible for PureStar’s Human Resources and Legal activities. Prior to joining PureStar, Mrs. Jones was a human resources executive and attorney serving most recently as a Vice President at ABM Industries supporting its Aviation, Education, Healthcare, High-Tech and Technical Services verticals. She began her career with King & Spalding LLP.

Sebastian Mitchell
President, U.S. Operations
Mr. Mitchell oversees all operations for PureStar’s facilities in the continental United States. Prior to joining PureStar, Mr. Mitchell spent over 10 years working for Aramark, most recently in the position of Region Vice President.

Vicky Cayetano
President, Hawaii Region
Mrs. Cayetano is a founding partner of PureStar.  As President of Hawaii, she oversees all operations in the region, including facilities in Honolulu, Maui and the Big Island.  Prior to joining PureStar, Mrs. Cayetano founded United Laundry Services and developed it into one of the leading outsourced laundry providers in the nation, and served as First Lady of Hawaii, from 1997 to 2002.

Terry Satchwell
Executive Vice President, Engineering and Technical Solutions
Mr. Satchwell sits on the Board of Directors and is responsible for all engineering project management, technical consulting and development for Brady Laundry Systems, a distributor of laundry equipment under PureStar. Prior to joining PureStar, he was Executive Vice President of Brady Linen, and Vice President of Pellerin Milnor Corporation, a leading manufacturer of equipment for the commercial laundry industry.

Chris Kane
Executive Vice President, Corporate Development 
Mr. Kane is responsible for PureStar’s M&A activities as well as other corporate growth initiatives. Prior to joining PureStar, Mr. Kane was an investment banker serving most recently as a Senior Vice President at Moelis & Company where he advised middle-market clients across a broad range of industries. He began his career as a CPA with Pricewaterhouse Coopers.

Board of Directors

George Chavel
Mr. Chavel is the former Chief Executive Officer of the North American operations of Sodexo, a global leader in Quality of Life services, and prior to that was the former CEO of Sodexo Healthcare Worldwide.  He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), and currently serves on the Boards of CH Guenther &Son, Giant Eagle and Valet Living.  Working with private investment firm Cornell Capital, Mr. Chavel also serves on the Board of Corelle Brands as well as PureStar. In addition, Mr. Chavel is a Senior Advisor to several start-ups in the Consumer Services, Healthcare, Hospitality and Data Analytics sectors.

Jean-Paul Montupet
Mr. Montupet is the former Chair of Emerson Electric’s Industrial Automation business and President of Emerson Europe.  He currently serves on the Boards of Wabco Holdings (NYSE: WBC), Assurant Inc. (NYSE: AIZ) and  IHS Markit ( NSDQ: INFO), in addition to PureStar.  Mr. Montupet is also a senior advisor to Cornell Capital and French investment company Eurazeo.

Henrik Slipsager
Mr. Slipsager is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of ABM (NYSE:ABM), a leading provider of integrated facility solutions. He currently serves as the Chairman of Impark and CSC ServiceWorks, and also serves on the Boards of Lithko, Artic Glacier, and Briggs & Stratton (NYSE: BGG) in addition to PureStar.

Henry Cornell
Mr. Cornell is the Founder and Senior Partner of Cornell Capital. Prior to founding Cornell Capital, he was the Vice Chairman and one of the original architects of the Merchant Banking Division of Goldman Sachs.  Mr. Cornell has over 35 years of experience across all aspects of private equity investing in a broad array of industries. Mr. Cornell also serves of the Board of Corelle Brands, Monolith Materials, MRC Global and Talcott Resolution.

Ann Berry
Ms. Berry is a Partner of Cornell Capital. Prior to joining the firm in 2017, she spent her career at The Goldman Sachs Group. She began in the Investment Banking Division in London in the Mergers & Strategic Advisory Group, and subsequently joined the Merchant Banking Division in London and New York. Ms. Berry also serves as a Board Observer of Talcott Resolution.

Emily Pollack 
Ms. Pollack is a Managing Director of Cornell Capital. Prior to joining the firm in 2017, she served as a Vice President of Harron Communications, a regional cable company, where she was a member of the senior leadership team responsible for M&A and financing activities, legal matters and operational management. Ms. Pollack also serves on the Board of Talcott Resolution.
